Sick and tired of the sick and tired!!!
I often wonder when "this" is going to end, "this" being the day-to-day hang-ups that seem to hinder life from moving smoothly. Lately "this" has not been tantrums, power struggles, potty training, crying or fussing, no rather "this" has been sick, tired children who then refuse to be anywhere but on their parents, who in turn, have become sick and tired! For a week we have pealed small bodies for each of us, with hopes of resting comfortably in a chair or maybe, just maybe a short nap on the couch but alas they seem to have some sort of radar and the other wakes in need of your body as a human cushion, as well a large rag to wipe their noses on, how lovely! The nights were no better children venturing in and out of the room, often not even wanting to sleep but roll on you or push you to the edge of the queen size mattress which shrank significantly with 4 people in it. Yet Sunday, I suppose God doesn't take that day off as he answered our prayers, they appeared better and seemingly able to sleep alone and so they did. And "this" concludes "this" week, thankfully!!!

I'm Back!!!
Hey all, sorry for the brief break but the holidays brought some really great times with new friends and our small family here in Germany. We celebrated the holidays with our German neighbors and learned to appreciate all of their traditions, foods and after we enjoyed a few German beers we didn't have to walk far in the snow to get home with our little ones. We enjoyed mounds of snow, and icy roads which basically forced us to play around the house but found that we have a wonderful sledding hill behind the house and that the little deer really enjoy, coming out of the tree's to say hello. We made fires everyday and played with all the new toys we had and watched all kinds of movies. We celebrated what seemed like a million birthdays but was 6, all mixed in with parties for the holidays and by the end of the first week of 2011, we were all exhausted. I then sent my husband off to states, to hopefully return with all kinds of goodies we can't get here in the empty suitcase he took! And most importantly I finally got internet at my home, which sounds crazy but I live in a little village where there is shortage of DSL ports, I know DSL right, but we're up running and that's what counts!
So last I left you I was just about to introduce my baby her new friend when I am away, the bottle. Now this being my second child I learned from all my mistakes with the first. So, I now have a fantastic double pump that is hands-free and yes it is worth the price tag even for a stay-at-home mom. I also am using my new mimijumi bottles. So here was the review: I love, love, love them!!!!! First they are so cute, really pleasing to eye and are only two pieces, this was a huge complaint I had with other bottles as mold would often get into the nooks. The other thing I love about these bottles is that it indeed looks like a small breast, so for my nursing baby its will feel just like mommy when I am away. She appeared to latch well and had very little air get into her tummy, both my kids are happy spitters/chuckers so we got about the same affect as when I fed her. She seemed very happy to take this bottle from me, which I know can be an issue for some mommies. All-in-all they are worth running out and getting one just because for many mommies out there you run through several different kinds before your little ones find what will work for them. In the long run grab a few of these and you are set!!!
Until next week enjoy...
